Although published in 2015, we still find PWC's report "Into Africa: The continent's cities of Opportunity" to be very useful to get a realistic overview of what to expect when investing in Africa.  Written for African policymakers, investors, and businessmen the report outlines the perspectives for growth and development in 20 top African cities.

Kampala (Uganda), November 2016.  Last week, our Co-Founder and CFO Thomas and the newly appointed Head of our African Office, Francois, had a very interesting trip to Uganda. The purpose of the trip was to survey the agricultural sector, specifically looking at the potential of agricultural companies and to see how they benefit smallholder farmers.

Hamburg, April. GreenTec Capital Partners had an amazing start into the week, attending the 10th Africa Energy Forum in Hamburg. We were part of one interesting panel "What about energy evolution" with renowned participants like Willi Meixner, CEO Power and Gas Siemens and Peter Fischer, Deputy Director General for Globalization, Energy and Climate Policy Federal Foreign Office and contributed to productive discussions.
