GreenTec Capital Partners at Forum Afrique 2018
Paris (France), February 2018. Last week, Sofien V Sidhoum, Head of our French Office, attended Forum Afrique 2018, hosted at the CCI Paris Ile-de-France (French Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The event coincided with the publication of the CIAN 2017 report bringing together policy makers, industry leaders, and prospective investors interested in the business climate in Africa.
Forum Afrique 2018 was organized by Le MOCI (Monitor of International Commerce) and CIAN (French Council of Investors in Africa) in partnership with the CCI Paris Ile-de-France. The event is an extension of the CIAN report, which provides analysis of African business trends and 40 individual country profiles. With an annual circulation of more than 45,000 copies distributed in French and English, it is one of MOCI’s most widely distributed reports. The theme of this year’s forum was “Climate Change: When risk becomes opportunity,” which brought together more than 600 participants including current investors, industry leaders, and those interested in African investment opportunities for round table discussion, workshops, and B2B meetings.
The event provided excellent networking opportunities and Mr Sidhoum was able to meet with Startups and SMEs interested about GreenTec’s innovative model. He also established contact with the Development board of Mauritius, led by his Excellency, Monsieur Vijayen Valaydon, Ambassadeur de Maurice en France and had productive talks with Robin Souclier, Director at Kroll.
