GreenTec Capital Partners attending the German Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy's Start-up Night! Africa 2018
Frankfurt (Germany), February 2018. GreenTec Capital Partners are very pleased to announce that we will be attending and presenting at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s (BMWi) Start-up Night! Africa 2018. The event will be held on March 20th, at the BMWi in Berlin, co-hosted by BMWi, the German-African Business Association (Afrika-Verein), the global network of German chambers of commerce, and the Lionesses of Africa.
This will be the second Start-up Night! Africa, which is a part of the Pro! Africa Initiative launched by Federal Minister for Economy and Energy Brigitte Zypries. The event will focus on matchmaking and networking and will bring together women entrepreneurs from Africa, German start-ups presenting new ideas for the German market, and established companies. The initiative aims at attracting more investment in Africa and creating economic partnerships of equals. The goal for the event is to spur economic development in Africa, ensure sustainable growth, and to promote closer cooperation with, and stronger involvement by the private sector. GreenTec’s Erick Yong and Thomas Festerling will speak at the event, presenting on how our model helps start-ups succeed through the ‘valley of death’ stage of company development and our perspectives on opportunities for start-ups and investors.
We look forward to sharing our investment approach and perspectives with the attendees as well as seeing innovative women entrepreneurs present their start-ups. The event will be live-streamed at De-Digital. To register to attend the event please visit the BMWi’s website.
