GreenTec is Reading: La Tribune interview with Betrand Badré

Frankfurt (Germany), March 2012. This week we are happy to share the following interview with Bertrand Badré “La finance peut allier performance et économie positive” (Finance can combine performance with positive impact) by Phillipe Mabille in La Tribune.

Mr. Badré had a long and illustrious career in finance including CFO positions with Crédit Agricole and Société Générale which led him to roles with Jacques Chirac as Advisor and Deputy for African Affairs and with the World Bank Group. In these last two roles, Mr. Badré became very involved in development finance. He is known for his commitment to delivering financial value and sustainable growth aligned with the UN’s SDGs. In 2016, he founded Blue Like an Orange – Sustainable Capital, which provides funding for projects with positive impacts in emerging countries. GreenTec is very pleased to see such a financial and foreign policy veteran enter the African development investment ecosystem. We share many of Mr. Badré’s views on the potential for new finance flows to produce sustainable growth, profits, and positive impacts.
