The company was also recently awarded the Nigerian National Productivity Order of Merit, continuing the company’s streak of awards for its innovative and impactful agricultural platform.

Farmcrowdy was also recently honoured by being awarded the Nigerian National Productivity Order of Merit on National Productivity Day on May 22nd, in Abuja, Nigeria. The event tagged “Productivity For Economic Recovery and Sustainable Growth,” was chaired by Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige. The award was presented to Farmcrowdy CEO Onyeka Akumah by Nigerian President HE Muhammadu Buhari, recognizing the company’s contribution to Nigerian economic productivity and development through its agricultural platform. Regarding the award Onyeka Akumah said “Thank you President Buhari for celebrating productive Nigerians including Farmcrowdy, we are truly honored.” This represents the second high-level government recognition for Farmcrowdy, following the visit of Nigerian Vice President Prof. Osinbayo San as a part of VP4Tech tour.
