Yusudi takes first prize at the X-Afrique Entrepreneurship Forum in Paris

Paris (France), March 2019. GreenTec Capital is very pleased to report that Yusudi has won the top prize at the X-Afrique African Entrepreneurship Forum Start-up Competition. Yusudi was selected from a competitive group of 21 start-ups for a cash prize and support from the Ecole Polytechnique incubator.

The fourth annual X-Afrique forum was held on March 9th at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. The forum brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 11 countries for conferences, round tables, start-up pitches, and cultural activities. Yusudi’s Charlotte DeRidder represented the company at the start-up competition and impressed the judges with her deep knowledge of the African edutech sector and the comprehensiveness of Yusudi’s solutions. Yusudi won a €2,500 prize as well as a seat at the Polytechnique Incubator, which will translate into technological support and business development.

GreenTec is very pleased to see Yusudi’s solutions winning at international competitions, highlighting the competitiveness of the Skill2Grow and Jijali programs. We look forward to reporting on more of Yusudi’s successes in the near future.
