Emmanuel Bocquet joins GreenTec in the role of Company Builder.

Dakar (Senegal) and Frankfurt (Germany), August 2019. GreenTec Capital is very pleased to announce that Emmanuel Bocquet has joined the team in the role of Company Builder.  Mr.  Bocquet will represent GreenTec on the African continent from our new offices in Senegal.

Emmanuel comes to us from an extensive background in international management and in the e-business and IT sectors. Mr. Bocquet began in his career in France with the growth of the burgeoning e-commerce universe in 1997. He has worked as a technical leader and manager in digital marketing and information systems and has accompanied brands and agencies in increasingly competitive and international ground. He also has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having worked with start-ups as well as large groups and corporates to develop their e-commerce strategies and digital positioning. Among his vast experience are leading an Off-Shore IT services company in Dakar, accompanying African software publisher Manobi, as well as, working with numerous African start-ups and digital companies.

Mr. Bocquet will be an invaluable contribution to the GreenTec company building team, reinforcing our African tech expertise. Emmanuel’s deep experience in Africa has convinced him of the urgency and opportunity of Africa’s economic development. His on-the-ground experience and practical experience combined with his firsthand knowledge of the opportunities and constraints facing African entrepreneurs will facilitate his ability to accompany GreenTec portfolio companies on the path to sustainable growth and success.
