Berlin and Frankfurt (Germany), November 2019. GreenTec Capital is very pleased to report that we and Boreal Light were featured in German Public Television’s Das Erste (ARD). GreenTec and Boreal were featured as a part of a segment titled Investments: Opportunities and Risk in Africa covering the G20 and Compact with Africa meetings in Berlin this week.
The program featured remarks by Federal Minister of Development Gerd Müller as well as featuring interviews with Boreal Light’s Ali Al-Hakim and GreenTec Capital CEO and Co-Founder Erick Yong. The feature highlighted Boreal Light’s innovative WaterKiosk® and its contributions to creating jobs in Kenya, as well as, Mr. Al-Hakim discussing the issues and opportunities of doing business in Africa. The segment also featured statements by Erick on how the Compact with Africa was promoting investment in Africa as well as GreenTec and Boreal already being active and creating new jobs before the Compact with Africa was created.
GreenTec and Boreal were also featured several times during the day as a part of the ARD “Tagesschau” and “ARD Mittagsmagazin”.
