Map of SADC with Boreal Light's office in South Africa markets

Cape Town (South Africa) and Frankfurt (Germany), January 2020. GreenTec is very pleased to report that Boreal Light GmbH has announced their entry into the South African Development Community and establishing an office in Cape Town, South Africa. The Berlin-based company formed a partnership with BE Afribusiness (PTY) LTD to address the SADC market.

The SADC is an important growth market for Boreal Light and represents a growth in ambition for the company. The company plans to bring its WaterKiosk® Brand to the region and build on the model’s success in Kenya. As a part of the company partnership with BE Afribusiness, Boreal will also expand its offerings to include a wider range of agriculturally focused solutions. The predominantly dry climate of the SADC region provides ideal markets to deploy Boreal Light’s robust, sustainable, and renewably powered water treatment solutions. GreenTec looks forward to reporting on the further growth of the model in the region.
