GreenTec Capital featured in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung article by Tim Kanning

Frankfurt (Germany), June 2020. GreenTec Capital is very pleased to share that the company’s founders Erick Yong and Thomas Festerling were recently featured in the June 2nd edition of the Allegemiene Zeitung in the Unternehmen section.

The article by Tim Kanning titled “In Afrika is nicht alles hoffnungsloss (Not everything is hopeless in Africa)“ presents profiles of co-founders Thomas Festerling and Erick Yong and covers GreenTec’s founding story from the humble beginnings working out of cafes with WiFi to the present. The piece details how the idea for GreenTec’s investment approach was developed and recounts some of GreenTec’s earliest deals. The piece provides a good overview of GreenTec’s development to the present day with more than thirty employees based in Europe and Africa.
