Frankfurt (Germany) and Lagos (Nigeria), September 2020. GreenTec Capital is very happy to report that PricePally has released new mobile app versions of their innovative e-commerce platform. Our Nigeria-based portfolio company was hard at work this year and released new app versions for Android in the Google Play Store and iPhone in the Apple App store. The apps bring the benefits of PricePally’s platform to mobile device users.

The PricePally platform helps Nigerians save money on food purchases by buying wholesale directly from producers and includes an innovative feature that allows users to make pooled purchases for additional savings. PricePally sources food and products directly from farmers and wholesalers to supply fresh, organic food produced in Nigeria and Africa. By connecting users directly to producers PricePally can offer fresher and cheaper produce to its clients. The key feature to the PricePally platform is the pooled purchasing, or “Pally” option, which lowers prices and cuts down on waste. Pally options include general ‘open’ purchases which are public, and ‘closed’ Pallys limited to connected users. Each participant in a Pally is delivered their own share within 2 days of purchase, conveniently and efficiently.

The newly launched mobile apps focus on bringing the PricePally platform’s benefits to an optimized mobile experience. The apps feature a digital wallet, improved search & social features, as well as an incentivized referral program.
