Amitruck takes 1st place in the Arctic15 pitching competition

Amitruck 1st prize certificate

Frankfurt (Germany) and Nairobi (Kenya), October 2020. GreenTec is very happy to share that Amitruck has taken the first prize at the Arctic15 pitching competition. Our Kenyan logistics portfolio company was selected from eleven competing start-ups to take the first prize.

The Arctic15 is Northern Europe’s most important start-up matchmaking event. For the last nine years, the Arctic15 has brought together a focused international crowd of startups, investors, corporates, media and influencers for 2 days of deal making and networking. 15 Tracks are focused on various industries, technologies and topics ranging from Digital Health and AI to Social Impact and Scaling. Industry players can use the time efficiently and gather under one roof. The core of it all is one-on-one meetings in Deal Room. The event is organized by ArcticStartup, a startup media covering Nordics and Baltics since 2007.

Amitruck’s first place finish is recognized with an award package organized by Arctic15 which includes mentoring from Nordic investors, the opportunity to keynote at an Ambitious Africa event, exposure at Ambitious Africa events for one year, and access to the Nordic investors ecosystem. Amitruck competed against a cohort of world-class international start-ups and their first place finish testifies to the competitiveness of their solution and the quality of their team. Join us in congratulating Amitruck CEO Mark Mwangi and his team!
