Powerstove builds team in preparation for Upscaling.

Frankfurt and Abuja, May 2021. GreenTec is very pleased to report that Powerstove is growing its team as a part of preparations for upscaling.  The Abuja-based company is continuing to build on its growth in 2020 and positioning itself to meet increasing demand for cookstoves in Nigeria and internationally. To seize this opportunity, Powerstove has added Mr. Yakub OsaniaPowerstove builds team in preparation for Upscaling.ye, Samson, Abiamuwe, and Yua Kuhwa to the management team.

In the past year, Powerstove has achieved a number of milestones on the path to growth. Following strong sales in 2020, the completion of a production facility, and strong performance at international start-up competitions, such as the Jua Fund and the GSIV, the company is strengthening its sales, operations, and administrative teams to meet to the challenges of growth. One of the first tasks for the team will be increasing the company’s product range to optimize product fit to a broader range of customers.

Yakub Osniaye joins the team as Senior Sales Lead, Samson Abiamuwe will fill the role of Senior Operations Manager, and Yua Kukwa will assume the role of Financial Controller. With these roles filled, Powerstove will begin diversifying its product range and preparing for upscaling.
