Yasser Lotfy joins GreenTec Capital as Associate in the Investment Business Unit

Frankfurt (Germany) June, 2021. GreenTec Capital is pleased to announce that Yasser Lotfy has joined the firm as an Associate responsible for sourcing, assessing and supporting startups in the Investment Business Unit.  Yasser comes to us with a background in finance and venture capital, which he will leverage in supporting the Investment Business Unit in acquiring and developing start-ups for our portfolio.

He was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt where he attended German School (Deutsche Evangelische Oberschule Kairo). Yasser received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Hamburg. In the course of his studies, Yasser gained experience in the Business Development M&A—Capital Markets and Finance department of Taylor Wessing, as well as in the International Banking Emerging Markets department at ODDO BHF and the Corporate Finance Advisory unit at KPMG Egypt.  After graduation, he interned in the Investment Management Venture Capital department at KfW Capital.

He is fluent in Arabic, German and English; and enjoys sports (especially football), reading, cooking (Mediterranean), snorkeling and working with startups.
