Who Should Apply?

This program is tailor-made for innovative, growth-stage companies that: 

• Are registered in Côte d’Ivoire (or plan to register there before the investment) 

• Are privately owned and profit-oriented 

• Have at least one annual financial statement under their belt 

• Have a viable business and financial plan ready to roll 

• Are already generating revenue (yes, Proof of Concept is a must!) 

• Have raised less than EUR 2 million in funding so far

develoPPP Ventures is an initiative is implemented on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) by the the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with GreenTec Capital GmbH. 

The initiative is aimed at young companies, whose innovative business model improves living conditions in a developing or emerging country and who are planning to scale up. Via a matching-funds model, BMZ provides non-dilutive funding of 100,000 euros for suitable growth investments. Besides financial support, selected startups will also receive tailored technical assistance based on their individual needs.
